Insta lately: Yea or Nay?

Hey Hey guys!

Happy Friday. I know we are all excited for the weekend! I know I am..

For me though the weekend starts early and lasts for 5 days because I only have 2 days of Uni. I have managed to catch up on a lot of school work which gives me time now to catch up on blogging and social media. I was surprised when my sister asked me last night why I haven’t been online in ages. Got me thinking about how long its been.

I’ve recently got back to posting instagram photos and it inspired me to start a new series called “Insta Lately” where I talk about my recent instagram pictures and give more of a story about it rather than the snazzy captions I try to come up with which frankly ends up being awesome 😉 but vague sometimes! So here’s a breakdown on the photos above which were taken from my instagram. BTW follow me on insta 🙂 @planetmeera

–My Uni revamped the cafeteria and the menu this term and now we get our meals served on these pinterest worthy set up. I was impressed by the slate the meal was served on and so I took a photo of it. This was my friend’s lunch, I had leek soup for mine but it wasn’t this pretty!

–How gorgeous is this Altuzarra top?! I have already come up with different ways to style it. I regrammed this picture from Susiebubble’s Instagram. Thanks to her and a few fashion people I get frow seats at New York fashion week and some behind the scene actions as well through snapchat 🙂

–It was valentine’s day on Sunday and the only thing I did resembling valentine’s was this edit I created inspired by the Dolce & Gabbana advertorial in next month’s Marie Claire magazine and the Lindt lindor chocolate. Also in the photo are swabs of the Kate moss for Rimmell and Christian Breton Paris lipsticks. And I also have my favorite scent that I have tried from L’Artisan Parfumeur, Caligna!

–It was a typical British day last Saturday—cold and rainy—and I put together this outfit for a lunch date with a friend. They’re both new purchases that I didn’t get the chance to wear so I was excited to style it. It’s a Zara top with a two-way pattern and sequins with the most gorgeous cut paired with a Monsoon pointy toe flat made of animal hide like material.

–I have always been a bookworm but lately I noticed that I kept buying books but not reading them. So I set myself a goal of reading at least one book a month. Most of the books on this list have received a lot of buzz so I’m definitely looking forward to being thrilled as well.

–And to finish off, is my selfie with Albus Dumbledore. A huge fact about me is that I am a potterhead. So hearing news about an 8th book, a play and possibly a film being released this summer left me all excited. The best part is I’ll be in England at the time of the release.

Well there we go, I enjoyed writing this post actullay, more than I thought I would. It felt nice to look at my week and remeber all the little exciting and also the mundane things I got upto. Looking forward to writing a lot more on the blog. Lately my writing has only been for my feature writing class. It’ll be nice to try a different style here and there.

Hope you like this new series. Let me know your thoughts below. Also what have you guys been upto recently?
