Looking for Summer Shoes inspiration? Then read on!
This post was initially titled ‘A few inches and I feel on top of the world’! Because that was literally how I felt the first time I wore this shoe out. Now if you’ve read my last post on shoes, you will already know about my love for shoes and my dislike of heels! Although I think it is more of fear and discomfort which translated to dislike, but give me comfortable heels and I can strut Naomi Campbell style. Which leads me back to the first day I wore these babies, I felt tall and confident and it was like I was looking at the world from a vantage point. Who knew life could feel and look different with just a few inches adjustment! Thinking of revisiting my heel dilemma now, especially Summer Shoes.
Like most of my shopping purchases, I didn’t set out to buy these shoes. I just happened upon them on a lazy afternoon at the mall. They were on sale and I had always thought cut out boots looked nice so I bought them. Got home, tried them on and I literally felt like I had googly eyes for them! The amount of response I got when I put it on snapchat made me think I made the right choice!
Went on TOPSHOP website today and saw that they were further reduced to £15, I guess it’s your lucky day. Click this link to head on over there. Leave me a comment if you buy them and what you think 😉
A stop at Miss Selfridges
For me, a day out shopping is never complete without a stop at Miss Selfridge. I found that some of my fave fashion items are from there including my all time favourite trench coat! If I am shopping on Oxford street then it is actually my first stop. Because it is right across the street from the station exit I use!
On the same day as the purchase of my boots above, I wandered into Miss Selfridge. The first thing I noticed were these pointy flats. In case you’ve been living under a rock, this design is the rave right now. From high-end to high street brands, everyone’s been designing their versions of it.
What I liked the most about the shoes is as a “flattie” the versatility, I can wear it casually and also formally with a long dress. or not. Don’t question my fashion choice, I dress for comfort whilst being as fashionable as I possibly can.
I styled it 2 days ago for a casual lunch date in London and a few people on instagram said they loved it. Well if you were one of those or my friend whom I met yesterday, then click here to head over to Miss Selfridge website and get yours on sale for £12. You’re welcome 🙂
