Cambridge is a place that I had always wanted to visit, and after watching ‘The theory of Everything‘, I knew I had to pay this town a visit. Well it was amazing, far beyond what I had imagined, which meant that I ended up taking so many pictures–300 to be exact. Therefore my intention of writing a post about my Cambridge trip has turned into a mini photo essay. I hope you like the pictures and tag along for the rest of the adventures. I’ll relive the day while you experience it vicariously.
We didn’t have a map or a pre-planned itinerary, which meant that all the places we visited we just happened upon them. From the quaint shops, to the galleries and the colleges in between. We were drawn by music from a chapel and upon entering we found this delicate looking boy playing the most beautiful piano piece I had ever heard. It felt angelic in a way.
But back to the buildings, gosh where do I start. I oohed and aahed at every one we walked past. but the most puzzling and intriguing one is the one above. Can you guesstimate how many rooms there are and what sort of rooms are layed out this way?
Let me know which picture is your fave and also which building. Have you been to Cambridge or do you want to visit? Stay tuned for more of the Cambridge Diaries…
