Every year on my birthday, I do this thing called “Birthday Week”!
This is a week where I consciously try to fill with positive energy by trying to do all the things that make me happy (errrrhmm food, laughs, fun) for example!
This year was no different…
My initial plan was to start off birthday week having a family dinner to celebrate me and my mum’s birthday cos it is just a few days apart.
But last minute I decided instead to invite my cousins and a few friends to come over to my house for an evening of chilling, laughs and food!
It turned out so well which you can watch in the video!
This year I only had 3 days of birthday week fun cos you know, adulting and all!
On the Second day, I hung out at a friends house with other friends and we made Korean food, 짜장면~ Jjajangmyeon [Noodle and Sauce dish] to be exact which was fun as well, I will post a video of how to make it on my Korean Blog.
I made 김밥 ~ Kimbap [Korean Sushi Rolls] at home and brought it to the lunch [Lemme know if you want a recipe for that as well]
On the third day of Birthday Week, which was a sunday, I hung out with my friend Hajara and our two Korean Friends, Hun and Kyo! They are professional dancers which was a little bit obvious in the videos. We had so much fun hanging out at cafes, walking around and stuffing ourselves with good food!
The rest of birthday week was also fun thanks to my job.
On the final day of Birthday week, I was supposed to go to the new Afro Sushi restaurant at Hilton with my family for the birthday dinner and after making a reservation and turning up, we found out the restaurant was closed! It was such a disappointment.
So we ended up going to Chi Thai Revolution & Sushi Box and had an enjoyable evening and end to Birthday week!
