Previous wisdom from my father

Every Thursday night like clockwork, I receive an email from my father that is similar to the one below. It is always a story with an important life lesson at the end. It has become such a routine that when I don’t receive it I become worried and ask him about it. In a way it is a means of a silent communication between us. And I have to say, as someone who loves stories, I find these ones to be very interesting and wise. They are not stories by my Dad, but I can imagine him saying things like that so to me they feel like his words. A VISUALIZATION OF THE LIFE OF MICKEY MOUSE!

May 21, 2016

I have been taking a visualization course in Uni this semester and I have had the privilege to learn some really cool stuff that I am thinking of incorporating into how I tell stories on the blog. There is a special project I am working on this summer that will look really great with the format I learnt today.

I have a sneak peek of it below and I thought it’ll be cool to share it. For the in-class exercise we used the life of Mickey mouse –As a self-proclaimed Disney kid this was so cool to work on, guys School can be fun! — to create a timeline…check it out below 🙂

have a lovely day

My family celebrates everything! Birthdays, anniversaries, achievements and mini life happenings in between. I guess you could say that was where my attitude towards “forgetting my birthday is unacceptable” came from, but I like that about us.

A few months back, we had an anniversary to celebrate so we decided a family dinner was in order. Because of school, my siblings and I are only home a couple of times a year, this was a break where all of us were around plus a few cousins and uncles. Continue Reading
