It is not everyday that you find someone who inspires you in so many ways. As a girl, a writer and a female Nigerian, Chimamanda is a role model of what I aspire to be everyday. Although there are so many Nigerian women that I admire, it is rare for me to find one that embodies a lot of the things I believe in and wish to be, but in Chimamanda I found one. It was a great pleasure for me to see she will be gracing next month’s pages of Vogue, with a stellar interview conducted in Nigeria. With a country as rich and diverse in culture as Nigeria, there isn’t just one type of Nigerian woman. However, they surprisingly carry similarities in their mannerism.
I read about this on one of my favourite blog, Scarlett’s Diary by Bondi. I had it at the back of my mind to complete the list or atleast 90% of it, it was sort of a 2015 challenge and to see if I can finally finish one of these type of lists.
