The idea for this post is actually from a last minute trip I took a while back. Due to last-minute flight bookings during peak period, I ended up on a flight with an 8 hour transit. Now for some of you this might be an average occurrence, but for me it wasn’t. I was used to direct flights or transits of not more than two hours, so this was a difficult situation for me. Because I was unprepared, it wasn’t easy. So as a reference for my future self and you guys, I decided to share tips on the best way to travel!
I had always wanted the ‘Miss Dior’ Perfume for obvious reasons (scent, bottle and awesome reviews) but for some reason I never got it. That is until last summer. I went shopping with Le Mum and she got it for me 🙂 They only had the Eau de toilette (I only buy Eau de Parfum if I can help it) but I was determined to get it so I settled.
I planned to meet a friend for brunch and I was left with the task of finding a restaurant. Seeing as I am a Foodie this was a very difficult task. I spent an hour of what I like to call a “gastronomical adventure” perusing the web for restaurants in London. I came up with a few suitable choices but we settled on Momo. My friend is a Moroccan aficionado and I was drawn by the decor ( I am a bit of a quirky decor lover).
Momo restaurant serves a North African and Mediterranean cuisine with delectable choices. There’s a hint of french in their weekend menu with packed Brunch and Afternoon tea choices or as they like to say “A café and a bazaar, a la Marrakesh-souk-meets-Parisian-troquet style!” You could choose to either seat at the outdoor terrace, restaurant, café or basement bar/disco with a live music program. All the furniture in the café is on offer for sale including some books, CDs and a few Antique jewels too.
