Come closer, I’ll let you in on a secret….I L o v e shoes!
I love them so much but there’s another thing, I’m not very keen on wearing heels. Now you know every ‘shoe lover’ will gasp after reading that but I am astounded as well. I tried to understand how this is possible but when it comes to me It’s hard to explain how I’m wired!
I say this all to say that because of my heel “phobia”, I have mastered the art of spotting the perfect flats, ballerinas— cool story, even before I knew they were called ballerinas, when It wasn’t a big deal in Nigeria, I called them ballet flats. I might be ahead of fashion #justsaying
Back to THE shoes, I went on a shopping trip to Bicester village—the designer shopping outlet—on Wednesday with one thought in mind, I need nice black shoes! Got there and went about the usual shopping traditions oohing and aahing, got some amazing gifts for the family and a thing or two for myself, but no shoes! I looked around for a while but nothing caught my eye.
I decided to head home, as I was leaving I spotted the Kurt Geiger store and decided to have a look. Almost after I went in to the store I spotted these shoes. It was love at first sight. It had the right amount of quirk and class, it was matte and had the majestic gold buckle, perfecto or what!
I controlled my emotions and picked up the shoe, when I saw the price I could not believe my eyes. It was £342 reduced to £49. A whooping £300 pounds off. One thing you should know about me is I love a good, worthy bargain—might be the economist in me but who’s checking! Now you could imagine my overflow of emotions, a bargain, super comfortable to walk in and more than easy on the eye. You bet a tear was lurking somewhere.
Welcome to my life Black Suede TOD’s pump. We are going to have some snazzy fun! I am now officially a member of the TOD’s family. You have wowed me! I can’t wait to add more of your shoes to my collection!
