Every Thursday night like clockwork, I receive an email from my father that is similar to the one below. It is always a story with an important life lesson at the end. It has become such a routine that when I don’t receive it I become worried and ask him about it. In a way it is a means of a silent communication between us. And I have to say, as someone who loves stories, I find these ones to be very interesting and wise. They are not stories by my Dad, but I can imagine him saying things like that, so to me they feel like his words. Daddy sends them to a few friends and family but I thought more people need to learn from these words of wisdom. So like clockwork, every Friday morning I shall share that week’s wisdom with you guys.
Once there was a king who received a gift of two magnificent falcons from Arabia. They were peregrine falcons, the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. He gave the precious birds to his head falconer to be trained.
